With summer approaching we have been playing with more colorful eyeshadow! A great affordable eyeshadow palette for playful colors is the Wet N' Wild Poster Child palette! Carly and I decided to play with some of the shadows and we came up with two beautiful makeup looks for summer! First, if you love pinks, Carly's look is for you! First step: Apply the middle pink shade all over the lid and slightly work this into the crease. Second step: Work the third pink shade into the crease and outer-v. Bring this shade up slightly from your natural crease line and BLEND! Third step: Put the lightest pink shade in the inner corner of the eye and on the brow bone. Bring this shade up onto the first part of the lid in the inner corner. Finally, use the darkest black shade on the pink side as your eyeliner! Use this on both the top lid and for the bottom lash line. Add your favorite mascara and you're finished! For those who like a pop of color, Abby's teal cut crease is for you! To achieve this look you definitely want to start with an eye primer! This allows the color to POP! First step: Apply the lightest yellow shade all over the lid and blend into the crease lightly. Second step: Using a pencil eyeshadow brush use the teal shade to create a precise line along the crease. Third step: Use the same teal shade and pencil brush to bring the color into the outer-v of the eye. Fourth step: Begin to slowly blend the shadows to create a seamless crease. Fifth step: Use the yellow shadow in the inner corner of the eye and very lightly on the brow bone Finally, combine the two blue shades and use as liner for the lower lash line and top a black eyeliner with this shadow on the upper lashes. Add your favorite mascara and nude lip and you're done! We would love to hear what colors you love to use for summer looks! Don't forget to follow us on Instagram and Twitter!
